The right booking format depends on whether you need one journey or a car retained while your day unfolds.
Use a transfer for a defined journey
A point-to-point booking is a useful format when you know where and when you need to travel. It normally does not keep the chauffeur available after drop-off. If you need another journey later, book and confirm it separately.
Use retained hire for connected stops
Hourly hire can suit appointments, viewings or shopping with several stops. Compare minimum hours, included mileage and the charging start point. Ask what happens if the day finishes early or overruns.
Compare the total itinerary
A low hourly rate does not necessarily make a long day cheaper. Send the same itinerary to each provider and compare the full quote. Include the final drop-off address, waiting between stops and any return to the original collection point.
